SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. (Per Press Association.) HASTINGS, June 25. The winter meeting of the Hawke’s Bay Jockey Club is being continued in fine weather, after heavy rain overnight. The track is very heavy, and the attendance only fair. Following are the results :— . Havelock Hack Hurdles of 150 sovs ; miles. —Kendal 1, Haligan 2, Birka, 3? Al so .started —Woden, Bestir, Projector, Threadwell,, Merekara and Hillation. Won by two lengths, with four lengths between second, and third. Time 2.59. < Turamoe Hurdles of 175 sovs. ; lg miles—Bonecto 1, Bonny Rill 2, Goldpiece 3. Also started —Suspicion. Won by a length. Timo 2.58 2-5. Kidnapper’s Flat Handicap of 125 sovs. • 61 furlongs.—Olympic 1, Alabama 2, The Strand 3. Also started —Manutai, Blue Jay, Teinpean, Basham, Betty Binns and Stymie. Won by a length and a half. Time 1-29. NORTHUMBERLAND PLATE. (Reuter.) LONDON, June 24. The Northumberland Plate resulted :— Obliterate 1 Chapeau ... 2 Ribblesdale 3 There were ten starters. Won by a length.
