It is beautifully and lavishly produced it is graced by the magnetic personality of a wonderful star in Gaby Deslys and it has a realistic story with more than a touch of the star’s true self; in addition it contains many dancing scenes with Galpy and her dancing partner Harry Pilcer, who plays tin? lover in the story, and much of the action of the plot is carried out at the famous French watering place Deauville. “Youthful Folly,” has been described as a lyrical romance with Olive Thomas in one of the most spendid roles of her career. Her sweet simplicity and youthful charm, her sense of comedy and her ability to rise to great dramatic heights are all used to wonderful advantage in this picture.
