ANNUAL MEETING. Tiie annual meeting of the aoove Club was held in the Albion Hotel yes.- , terday afternoon at 4 p.m. The annual report and baiance-siieet ' were received and adopted. Member* , in discussing same, expressed their gratification'at the success which iiad , attended the Club's efforts during the past year. Despite the loss oi its Spring Meeting, both the Club and the soort generally on the Coast ha a made 'considerable' advancement, which promised well for future years. The election of officers resulted as follows : President—Mr. Felix Campbell. Vice Presidents—Dr Jas. Mcßrearty and Dr. J. Wilson Mcßrearty. Chairman—Mr. U. W. Kitchingham. Committee —Messrs 11. C. Clerk of Scales—Mr M. W. McCarthy Starter—ifr. W. Cochrane. CONDOLENCES. On the motion of the Chairman, votes-of condolence were passed to Mr I). J. Evans (secretary Westland Racing Club) on the recent death of his wife, and to Mrs. Skoglund and family on the death of Mr. 3. T. Skoglund, a member and auditor of the Club. The votes were passed in silence, members standing. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr. Jas. F. Wilson for valued services in an official capacity at summer meeting.
