THE WAITEMATA SUNK. NO LOSS OE LIFE. (Per Press Association WELLINGTON, This Day. The Naval Adviser regrets to report that the Union Company’s ship Waitemata has been sunk in European waters. Fortunately there was no loss of life, all hands being safely landed. (The Waitemata was built at Port Glasgow in 1908. Her dimensions were 415 ft by 54ft by 27ft Tin. Her gross 4 :.ge was 5482.
