WEST COAST FOOTBALL.

THE WATSON CUP. The Watson Cup, presented to the West Coast Rusby Union for competition, is now on view in Mr. J. O'Donnell's shop window fa. Tainui Street. This cup is to be competed for by senior teams in the Grey and Westland districts, the conditions being that it shall be won twice m succession or three times at intervals orior to becoming the absolute property of thf winning club. The cup is a neat one mounted on an ebony stand, and the uresent season will be the first year of its competition. The trophy was presented to the Union through the representations of their local agent, Mr. Coltman, made to the firm of "Watson's No 10/ ot DunZe and as a rvmbol to the champions of the winter game on the West Coast is highly appreciated in Rugby circles.
