There was brilliant sunshine, and their Majesties received a tremendous ovation en route to the course. There was a. great farewell banquet at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The King invested M. Doumergue with the Grand Cross of the Victorian Order. President Poincare farewelled Their Majesties at the railway station. The King expressed appreciation of the warm welcome accorded the Queen and himself.
