Westport.—Wind,' south-east, light; barometer, 29.7.2; thermohipter, 35 degrees;’tides, poor; bar, smooth.. Greymouth. —Wind, south-east, fresh breeze ; barometer, 29.89; thermometer, 37 degrees; tides, moderate; bar,'moderate. WEATHER FORECAST. Last evening the Dominion Meteovlogist telegraphed the following weather summary and forecast" Stormy . weather was experienced on Saturday, but a temporary improvement took place on .Sunday. The barometer rose half -an inch during the night, but has fallen again, and cloudy, weather, prevails. Present indications are ,I’pr cloudy and unsettled weather, with rain in most parts, and snow on higher levels, increasing northerly and westerly winds probable with a failing barometer everywhere.” Rev. D. C. Bates (Dominion Meteorologist) wired at. noon to-day as follows: — 7 “Moderate - to;strong southerly winds; but there are indications for winds freshening to westerly strong to gale after 20 hours, for a storm area appears to be approaching from the westward. Expect unsettled and cloudy weather, with probably rain and snow in high country following; probably-a. very cold night; glass little movement, but fall after 20 hours; tides and sea moderate.”
