The Arahnra arrived this morning, and, sails for Wellington at nilio o’clock to-1 night. The Pukaki sails for Lyttelton to-night (coal laden). The Karori sails for Melbourne and Adelaide to-night, timber laden. The Te Anan is due from Dunedin tomorrow. and loads coal for the same port. The Kaitoa sailed yesterday morning with a cargo of coal lor Foxton. The Waimea arrived from Now Plymouth direct yesterday morning, and sails to-night with a cargo of coal for Wanganui. The Oponri is due from Lyttelton on turns on Saturday. The Union Company’s new steamer Karamn, 800 tons, a similar vessel to the Kowhai, left England on June 18th for New Zealand ports, via Hobart. Mr M. Alexander has joined the Kini as second engineer in place of Mr R. Graham, who reverts to bin position as third engineer. Mr F. Fogarty, actingthird, has Signed off the vessel’s articles, Mr Adkins, chief officer of the Waipori, wonta osera then me, went ashore at Auckland on holiday leave, his place being taken by Captain J. Morrison, late of the Haupiri. Captain A. H. Davey, of the Kini, left Wellington for Auckland yesterday on holiday leave, and is being relieved by Captain Holmes, late of the Haupiri. It is announced that, the Union Company has taken the- steamer Myra Fell, 3024 tons, on a six months’ time charter. The Myra Fell is a steel screw vessel, built in 1907 by the Irvine Shipbuilding Company, Limited. West Hartlepool, to the order of the Kessler Shipping Company. Limited. Her dimensions are:— Length, 324.7 ft.; breadth, 47ft; depth, 13.8 ft. She is registered at Sydney.
