REEFTON MINING REPORTS

ST. GEORGE. For the week the western cross-cut has been extended 9ft, total 199 ft. Ha ve aviso driven six fleet for the .month on the reef track reported last month. There is now a reef three feet wide and well defined in the face and looks very promising. 'Gold can be seen in the stone. JUST-IN-TIME. For the week the eastern crosscut from No. 3 level south has been extended five feet, total 82ft. The ground passed through is much the same as last report. The north drive has bee nextended five feet, total 75 feet. There i sfrom six to ten inches of stone in the face. The contractors have extended No. 3 level south 13 feet on a good reef track.
