AN ADVENTUROUS SEAMAN. Captain J. Nicolaisen, of the Norwegian barque Triton, at present lying alongside the Auckland railway wharf, is a mariner of the adventurous type, says the New Zealand Herald, and at one time, accompanied bv four companions, he made a daring voyage from Norway to the Cape of Good Hope in a ten-ton craft. The little vessel, named the Rana, was a Norwegian pilot boat of the cutter type, with one mast.
