Nominations for all events close on December 4th at 9 p.m. Handicaps declared on December 11th at 9 p.m. -Acceptances close on December 18th at 9 y.m. Chopping and sawing contests are conducted under the rules of the New Zealand Axemen's Association; Athletic Events under the rules of the New Zealand Athletic Union. The last six performances must be sent ni with each nomination, together with the necessary fee. The Committee reserve the right to withdraw or rearrange any event, and, should the weather be unfavourable to postpone the sports from day to day. All protests must be made in writing and lodged with the Secretary within fifteen minutes of the conclusion of the event, and accompanied by the sum of 10s which may be forfeited should the Committee consider the protest frivolous.
