Chopping and sawing enthusiasts are reminded that a sawing and chopping natch will be held at the rear of the Trafalgar Hotel. Particulars may be found in our advertising columns. With the approach of the holidays, amateur photographers are beginning to "ger. busy," and, in getting your photographic outfit together, we would draw your attention to our extensive stocks of cameras and all photographic requisites. We have everything here to facilitate camera work, the most dependable plates, the best papers, etc., etc., and we urge you in your own interests to make your selections here, where the goods are good and the prices right. A parish mission in connection with Holy Trinity Church will commence tor.iorj'ow (Saturday) evening and continue a'l next week, concluding on the following Sunday. The mission will be conducted by the clergy of the neighbouring parishes. The Rev. S. Stephens, vicar 6f Kuniara, will open the mission to-morrow evening and Sunday morning and afternoon. His eloquence and ability as a preacher are well known and need no comment from us. He will be followed on Monday by the Rev. Roy Barnett, M.A.. of Hokitika. The mission is intended to commemorate and perpetuate the good work of the general mission of last year and to further stimulate interest in 'Spiritual matters and the Church of Christ.
