The body of the Marquis of Wa>«rford was found in the River Clodagh, adjoining his residence at Curraglimrire, County Galway. Apparently his di ath was accidental. At an inquest, a verdict of accidental death was returned. It is believed the Marquis fell into the river during a foggy night. [Henry de la Poer Beresford, S'xth Marquis of Waterford. was born on 28th April, 1875, and succeeded his farher i:i 1895. He was educated at Eton, and entered the army, being for a time a lieutenant in the Royal iJerse Guards. In 1879 he married Lady Beatrice Frances Fitzmaurice, youngest daughter of the Fifth Marquis of l.ancdowne, by whom he had two sons end three daughters. His heir is the Earl of Tyrone, aged ten years.]
