Messrs Mark Sprot and Co. will sell at Preston Road saleyards on Saturday next at 1 p.m., 100 two and a-half to three-year-old steers from Wanganui.
Messrs G. W. Moss and Co. will hold n sale of 330 head of store steers from two to five years old at Totara Flat saleyards on Thursday, the 21st instant. The Greymouth Harbour Board invite tenders for the purchase for removal of Williams', Braniffs' and Boswell's unoccupied cottages on Preston Road to close en Monday next at noon. Mr S. J. Whiteside, late of Blackball, announces that he has bought a cab and will ply for hire in town, meeting all trains and passenger steamers, and hopes that by paying strict attention to
