HORSE AND COW COVERS

The season is now approaching when it will be an act of cruelty to animals that are in use by human beings in t he conduct of their business, to adopt the old colonial style of turning them adrift as soon as their day s work is done. They require as much attention at the hands of their owner as he does himself. They must be properly fed and kept warm in the cold weather, lo turn a horse or milch cow out without a decent cover from this till spring is to prevent the former from doing justice to his employer and the latter from keeping up her supply of milk. But there arc covers and covers, hut none so good as those that are made to fit the particular animal. Tn tins respect Mr. 0. H. Hansen, sail, tent and horse and cow cloth manufacturer notifies that he is prepared to supply horse and cow covers made on the premises hy an experienced workman from the very best material imported by himself to order for use on the West Coast and will guarantee them to fit properly and to be weather proof. His establishment in Mnckav Street is just now fully stocked with a splendid selection of canvasses, linings, and all materials required in the manufacture of these necessary articles and Mr. Hansen ensures prompt delivery of the cloths after the measurement is supplied Nothing pleases a man so much as a good fitting suit, and, if a horse or cow could speak, it would probably say the same of the cloth. Anyhow an ill-fitting cloth on any animal never gives any satisfaction to owner or animal, as it wears out so much more rapidly than one that is properly made to fit.
