Betting—2 to 1 against Curfew Belle. Won by a head, Time 29. lola Jumpers Fiat Race—Victor 1, King Ping 2, Alsop 3. Nine others started. Betting sto 1 Victor. Won easily. Time 2 29$
Mona Nursery Handicap—Lady Lettice 1, Lagamore 2, Parleen 3. Fourteen others started. Belting—2 to 1 Velox, 15 to 1 Lady Lettice. Won easily Time 50i.
Australian Hunters’ Cup-Syringa 1, Black Sea 2, Norval 3. Seven o hers ran. Betting— 4 to 1 Norval, 7to 1 Syringa. Won by a dozen lengths. Time 8 22 3.4,
Eclipse Stakes—Wakeful 1, Air Motor 2, Footbolt 3. Four others ran. Betting—3 to 1 Wakeful, who won easily. Time 2 26.
Coongy Handicap—Vanity Fair 1, Free States 2, Progredior 3. Fifteen others ran. 4 to 1 Progriedor, 6 to 1 Vanity Fair, won all out by a neck. Time 2 335.

The weather was fine and the attendance large for the second day of the Napier Park races. The racing was very good, and the sum of £5,356 was put through the totaiisator. Results : Second Hack Hurdles—The Glyphon 1, Master Model 2, Eclair 3. Time, 2 571-5; div., £3 14s. Puketapu Hack—Comfort 1, Aroha 2, Baldie 3. Time, 146 4-5; divs., £3 2s and £2 Bs.
Two Year Old Handicap—Bandmaster 1, Captain Kettle 2, Seagull 3. Time, 56 4-5 sees; div., £ll 9s.
Racing Club Handicap. Meta M‘Carthy 1, Menura 2, Laureate 3. Scratched, Fleka. Won by two lengths. Time, 1 58 ; divs-, £lO 2s and £1 Id*. Caledonian Handicap—Mongonui and Rajah a dead heat, Stepdaughter 3. Time, 1 17 2-5 ; divs., Mongonui £2 3s ; Rajah £2 2s. Second Hurdles—Eclair 1, Pearl Shot 2, Master Model 3. Time, 3241 5 ; div., £2 4s.
