GREAT OPPORTUNITY A great opportunity is offered to residents of Feilding and District with an invitation to attend a free ilustrated lecture at the Parish Hall on Tuesday, 6th March by Dr H. H. Allen I).Sc. on “Some Famous Botanic Gardens and Flowers. ’ There will be a non competitive display of unusual or outstanding flowers, fruit or vegetables, and anyone having such a specimen is asked to bring it to the lecture. It is hoped to have a large attendance to hear such an outstanding authority as Dr Allen. The Autumn Flower Show has been arranged for March 16. At the Driil Hall and special efforts are being put fdrth to make this an outstanding event. The Society wants large entries and the support of the public. There will be special classes for dahlias.
