MISSING BANKRUPT
CREDITORS OWED £3650 INVESTIGATION ORDERED (Per Press Association) Greymouth. Feb. 27 The creditors of Reginald Laurence Eeecli. who was recently declared bankrupt, and who after a brief but active career as a grocer disappeared from Greymouth at the beginning of the month, met today. It was disclosed that debts to unsecured creditors total £3050. including nearly £IOOO to a large Wellington firm. The deficiency is approximately £1156. Beech’s manager stated, that Beech had taken various amounts away with him. and no trace had been found of them. It was decided that the assignee investigate the affairs of Beech and ascertain if there were sufficient grounds to endeavour to locate his whereabouts and lay an information under the penal section of the Bankruptcy Act.
