OBITUARY
Mli. JOHN F. KREAGHER Another link in the chain of time lias severed through the passing on February 44 of Mr. John Fredrick Kreagher. of Feilding- Deceased hart the rare distinction of being horn at sea some 74 years ago. He lamte,| in New Zealand with his areuts as an infant. He had farmed land at Wnituna. taking part in a goou deal of bush clearing in the early days. Later, he took up business in Feilding. Deceased was well known all through the district and tile sympathy of the entire community goes out to the widow and family in their bereavement. , The family consists of five daughters, Mrs. W. Straw-bridge and Mr. W. Webber, of the Bay of Plenty, Mrs. W. Whittaker. Mrs. A. Devery and Mrs. L. Huldjleston. of Feilding. and four sons, all of Feilding. Many friends and sympathisers gathered at. St. Brigid’s Church on Monday to
pay their last respects to an oldtime friend and to follow the remains to their last resting, place at Feilding cemetery, where they took their last farewell amid many manifestations of sorrow and regret. grave side. The family of the late Mr. Kren-gbt-r desire to thank ail kind friends for their sympathy and visitations during their sad bereavement, also those who sent wreaths, an,] especially Sister Smith for her kill,! and considerate attention and care.
