IX)MINK>X FEDERATION A PLAN DISCUSSED (Per Press Association) Wellington. Sept. 27 A proposal that the various school committee associations should form a national body to he known as the Dominion Federation of School Committees* Associations is being considered today at a conference of delegates. Mr F- P. Ongley presiding over 13 delegates, representing the .Auckland. Canterbury, Otago. South Canterbury. Southland. South Taranaki and Wellington Associations. In extending a welcome on behalf of the city, the Mayor (Mr. T. O. A. lib lop) expressed tin* hope that as a result of their deliberations matters that came under the control of the delegates would be advanced. Replying. Mr. Ongley sai.l life felt it would be a step in the right direction if the/federation were formed.
