SURRENDER OF CONTROL TO INDIA’S POLICE AND RAILWAYS (Aust. and N.Z. Cable) London. Sept. 27. Tlie Daily Mail says the Government, realising the clanger of surrendering the Indian politicians the control of the police, railways and post and telegraphs, is now considering important modifications of the India White Paper proposals.
