MOCK BATTLE AT SEA ASSISTANCE OF SEAPLANE •Per Press Association) New Plymouth, September 26 Using the New Plymouth harbour ais a base, tbe Fa.irev Royal Air Force seaplane, from Hobsoinville, will set out to spy tlie position of fhe ships of the Australian Squadron returning to Jervis Bay.
The. seaplane will wireless the position of the squadron to the New Zealand warships. Dunedin and Diomede, arid a mock battle will follow, tlie seaplane remaining in the vicinity to assist in ‘ ‘spotting’’ the Australians.
