THE SYSTEM EXPLAINED LAST NIGRfT’S MEETING There was an attendance of 47 in Hie Majestic Theatre last night, the Mayor, Mr C. E. Taylor, presiding, to hear the expounding of the Douglas Cre dit system by Mr A. E. Robinson of Auckland. Tlie lecturer who is a clear speaker, received a vote of thanks. Mr Robinson is perhaps as well equipped as anyboly in the Dominion in a knowledge of the proposals which are being eagerly discussed throughout the world with the object of bringing production and consumption together. Feilding folks who feel out of their depth in considering the monetary problems of today availed themselves of the opportunity of hearing Air Robinson last night. Tlie aim of the speaker was to let in a ilttle light upon a subject which is scarcely known.
