CRITICISM OF QUILTS

AIR ELLIS EXPLAINS (Per Press Association). Dunedin, September 28 Evidence was given before the Tariff Commission in Dunedin, by Air Roland Ellis, who supported a request that the present duty of 20 per cent, on quilts should be retained. Air Ellis explains that his critical remarks concerning a. certain class of English down quilts referred only to the lowest grade productions and not to- other and better grades of quilts imported from England.
