April 9 Dairy produce importers and merchants are indignant at tho cables from tlie New Zealand Dairy Board attributing the slump prices to their actions. The Importers’ Association officialIv challenges tho statement and asserts that nothing could possibly have been done to cone with the huge supplies exceeding all possible eonsujn ption. It is stated here that the New Zealand board had all necessary data to forecast, the present crisis at least two. months ago. Some importers expect, a. war or attrition lasting for years.
