FOR PLUXKET FI NDS Tiio Oddfellows’ Hall presented a gay appetvance on Saturday afternoon wiioii the members "of the Phmket Society ajnq their supporters met, for a bridge party. Tke arrangements were very complete, and the Committee is to be congratulated on the success of the afternoon and the way in which the members looked after their guests. Th© decorations were much admired the large centre table being massed with deep blue violas, and a. very appetising afternoon t oa ' was dispensed during an interval of play. There were IB iable§ of players and the cciety’s funds should benefit Ijy about five pounds Three? prizes woi c , presented, and these went to Mrs Noel Harding for fhe highest score, Mr s F. I>. Pirnni for the. second score and Miss M. R. Sho r tall for tile hidden number.
