with. Alisg \. Price of the Aorangi club, and ihe» Colyton lady proved ♦he winner. Mr Claud Samdbrook of Bcaconfiold won the gents’ handicap, defeating S. Penny or Aorangi ja th 0 final. Mr Mason Durie present.d the trophies, the winner and the rumors up each 'receiving fche VP. Mr Penny also received a trophy offered for the nio-t improved player in, ttv* Aorangi club during the season. Air Dmic mentioned tHat the club had had a. most succor-<sfill .reason, .amd they lmd enjoyed the visits from and to outside clubs. A dance programme followed the pin<_r pong games- This included old-t-ime and modern dances, witlt a .number of novelty dances. Tlie music was supplied by Alossrs Durie brothers. Pe*inv and Fitzgerald. \vh * all rtccived thanks for their valuable help. A tc-mntirg hand-round supper was one of the ftnportant parts of tho evening’s .arrangements.
