Professor Duplessis’ legal action against the Synod of the Dutch Re formed Church whereby ho seeks to nullity his dismissal from the Theo|e gical Ccrain ary at St. Kllenibosch University, has opened before three Judges of the Supreme Court.
Counsel for Die Svi>o<l held that this Court could not override the ohnreiH on a questiota of doctrine.
Plaintiff’s ifmnxcl argyied that plaintiff had not broken any Church doetrine and the interpretation of all contracts .rested with the civil Courts.
