COLLIERY EXPLOSION
IX QUEENSLAND AGAIN. (Aiifit. and N.2. Cabl'd - *. (Received April 27. 1 p.ni.) Brisbane. April 27. Another colliery has occurred, this time at. Balmoral mine in the Emerald district. Matthew Stewart, the underground manager. Horace Abbott and AYilliam Spi Her were seriously injured. It is surmised that an electric ■wire fused, causing the gas in the mine to ignite. Nineteen other men were not it* jured.
