CAPTAIN WAS CARELESS
LOSS OF THE IRON CHIEF (Aust. and N.Z. Cable). Sydney, April 2-1. The Marine Court delivered its judgment as a result of an inquiry into tlie loss of the Iron Chief. The Court found,that the charge against Captain Earron sustained that; lie showed carelessness in navigating the vessel and also that the navigation of the vessel [generally showed over-confidence on the part of the master and lack of appreciation of his rseponsibilities. Therefor the Court suspended Captain Barron's certificate for six months from April I,
