S.S - Pinion, 7.2 J Fourteen started including White Pang anA Kuniiymedc. Persuasion made most of the running but in the straight Mullabawii came fast and won by live lengths. Time 1.27. CHELMSFORD STAKES, 1) furlongs. Limerick 9.4 1 Merry Mint, 7.13 - Son O’Mine 7.8 8 Commendation • 4 Seven starters. Genuine showed the w;iy to Limerick, Commendation and Merry Mint, who were together past the half A little later Limerick shot to the front and led into the straight two lengths ahead of Genuine, with Commendation Merry Min and Son o’ Mine following in that order. Merry Mint moved into second place, hut Limerick taking things easy won and cantered in two and a half lengths- ahead of Merry Mint, who beat Son o’ Mine by one and a half lengths. Commendation was fourth, three lengths away. Time 1.551.
