PRISONERS OF WAR.
THE METHODS OF RETURN

Wellington, November 30. The Minister of Defence has received the fololwing cablegram from the High Commissioner with regard to the repatriation of New Zealand prisoners of war:
"New Zealand prisoners of war are now returning to England in small drafts, mixed with British prisoners of war. On arrival, their health is first consideration, and they are given 28 days' leave if and when fit; then priority of return to New Zealand. Names and regimental numbers of all prisoners of war have been and are being cabled you as soon as they arrive in England. Prisoners of war from Turkey report to the N.Z.E.F. Egypt, and are then given priority of return to New Zealand, with the option of going either direct or via England."
