COMMERCIAL

GRAIN AND PRODUCE

(Per Preaa Association.)

Christchurch, November 30. In the Canterbury markets the amount of business passing is still very limited, owing to so little shipping being available. Oerings from the country are suspended for the time being, and there is a considerable quantity of oatsheaf chaff awaiting shipment to the North Island, where the markets are reported to be bare. A few small lots of potatoes have gone to Wellington during the week, but supplies in the country districts are now practically exhausted. The prices paid have been £11 10s to £12 at country stations. The new season's potatoes are still scarce.
