Hastings, July 15

Tho President of the Hawke's Bay Sheepowners' Union erports that at a confeernce between his executive and rcprsntativs of the sharers from all parts of Hawke's Bay it was unanimously decided that the rates of pay for shearing in the Hawke's Bay district shall be £1, plus 7s 6d, war bonus, per 100, shearers to be found. Shed hands Is 6d per hour and found. Both parties have agreed to confer again with the object of arranging a round of sheds for each gang in such manner as will avoid delays between sheds, thus making fullest use of depleted labour.
