The kick at goal tailed. From this until hail-time tlie game was fairly even. In the -second spoil Yellow pressed the Blacks back into their twenty-lives and from a mark Murdoch kicked a neat goal. Pirates livened up at this and within the last few minutes McSwecney made a good run resulting in a score by l,iddle. The scores were not altered; the whistle sounding time. Mr. J Hughes controlled the game. The result of the Old Boys-Pirates match will be found on page 1.
