Summary.— A squall area passed in the. south yesterday and strong .northwesterly winds changed rather suddenly to south-easterly. Showers were experienced during the night in several parts of the country. The barometer is now above normal, and high in the south. Forecast. —Present indications are for fair to cloudy weather generally, witJi moderate to* strong south-easter-ly winds, changing by catst to nor Hi for 2) hours, when th c barometer is like to fall steadily in tlio south. A storm area is duo to pass in the south in the latter part of the week. TO-DAY'S FORECAST. Expect easterly winds, moderate to strong, and veering by I'!, to N. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with increasing haze and cloudiness. The barometer has a falling tendency.
