ARMSTRONG ON OUR GAME. Dunedin, March 9. Armstrong is emphatically of opinion that cricket in New Zealand has improved materially since his last visit. The New Zealand team put up a fine performance on Saturday in getting rid of Australia for 354. He suggests that Otago should get a coach,. who would remain permanently. Carisbrook and Lancaster Park are two of the best grounds the visitors .have played on in the Dominion. GETIXG A COACH. The Otago Cricket xVssociation has hopes of securing as coach a leading member of the Australian eleven now touring New Zealand. As negotiations have to be conducted through the State Cricket Association in which the player in question resides, tho name cannot be disclosed at present.
