Adelaide, March 24. While Mrs Hinton was warming food for her infant the spirit lamp exploded and set fire to the bed on which the infant and another child were lying. The mother was terribly burned in trying to rescue them, and she and the infant succumbed. The other child and a man who came to the rescue were badly burned.
