Dunedin, March 26. A message received in toAvn states that a disastrous bush fire is raging at Kaka Point, Port Molyneaux. Several houses have been destroyed.
DIED AND LEFT TWIN ORPHANS. Dunedin, March 26. Jeiniio McColl, aged thirty, died yesterday morning at a house in Mornington occupied by Mrs Dunstan. She Avent there on the 15th, and died after giving birth to two children. An inquest was formally opened and adjourned till next Friday. ORANGEISM. Auckland, Maircdi 26. The sixth annual session of the New Zealand Provincial Black Chapter, working under the Grand Black Chaptor of Ireland, Avas held at Newton yesterday, 45 delegates being present trom. all parts of the Dominion. He also presented certificates to members of the SfT. John Ambulance Society. Yesterday he visited St. Mary's Church and lunched with the Mayor at his private residence. In the afternoon he went By train to Fairlie, and travelled to Waimate this morning.
