-NORTH RANGITIKEI RIFLE
ASSOCIATION
The sixth annual mee-tiuj; of the above Association commenced at Mangaweka yesterday in line, cloudy weather, with 78 competitors. The ■shooting at times was brilliant, two possibles being scored a.t 500 yds and two lit GOOyds. Representatives were present from Wellington,- Mastertou, TaradaJo, Taumarunui and intermediate centres.
At oOOyds the shooting Was especially good. The handicap limit &hut out the points men from the prizelist, no less than ten men being couiiitcd out with 33. The nieeting was continued to-day.
