SUNDAY' .SCHOOL PICNIC. i OL3 OWN Cuiilii-Si'oNDfiNX.I The annual Presbyterian Sunday bcnuui picnic, nt'id m Mr J. W. Buriiu's grounds, was a great success. A largo number or parents, ti lends, and school children assembled, and an exceedingly pleasant day was spent. A large tent was erected, and ample provisions and prizes were provided. It was a pleasing feature to see so many children from kindred schools present to enjoy a romp with the children of the Sunday School. The Rev. J. H. White Avas also present to do honour to the occasion. Messrs Beard, Burne, and Craighead had charge of the race programme, and some inter, esting competitions took place. The ladies of the congregation all" assisted in attending to the distribution of the creature .comforts. At the close hearty cheers were given for Mr and Mrs Burne, and all who assisted.
