PENQUIN INQUEST ADJOURNED. Sub-Inspector Phair stated at the inquest in Wellington yesterday that lie had intended to call two other passengers w-ho had been saved, but they were out of town. The foreman said no evidence had been calfled as to the finding of the bodies. Dr. McArthur: I can give you evidence as to that. 1 viewed the bodies. The foreman said t-lic jury would like to put a tew questions to the police.. There was a question as to the care of the bodies, and wliy thuv had been left on the beach for 2i hours. Dr. M'Arthur : With all duo deference to yon, Mr Foreman, you are enlarging your enquiry beyond its scope. Your duties are to find as to , the cause of death. J After some discussion it was dcci led to get the evidence of Mr Ri^xsMiller, one of the survivors of tlre wreck, who, it is stated got ash -re from a boat. The inquest was accordingly adjourned until 10.30 a.m. on Monday. Another body, fully clothed and wearing a pair of tennis shoes, was found on the rocks at the mouth of the Karori stream at dusk this evoning.
