THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE. [PEB PRBBB ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, February 26. The annual conference at the Methodist Church was oontinned to-day at the Taranaki-sireet Church. The Her, J. Fee, who was elected President last night, occupied the chair. The business of the morning was the election of various commitees. The following laymen were elected to the stationing committee: Auckland district. — Messrs G. Winsone and J. Wheeler; Wanganui. — Messrs E, Dixon and G. H. Bennett; Wellington.—Messrs G. 11. Harkness and C-JKJJer; Nelson.— Messrs E. H. Fenny and A. A. Lucas: Canterbury. —Messrs G. H. Blackwell, B. H. Turner and J. A. Flesher; Otago. — Messrs J. F. Arnold, M.P., and E. JRosevear.The Colonial Committee met this afternoon to consider a proposal to establish a central mission in Wellington. The first business to-morrow morning will be the consideration of the balance sheet by the stationing committee.
