The only secured creditor is Mrs H. M. Goldfinch, of Feilding, the security being valued at £600 against £237 Is, the amount of the debt. ESTATE OF T. A. DURRAN. At the first meeting of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Thomas Albert Durran, canvasser, Feilding, bankrupt's financial statement showed his total debts to be £249 19s 9d, and his assets £20, leaving a deficiency of £229 19s 9d. In his written statement he said that he came to Feilding about two and a half years ago with a little stock of jewellery, but no money, and started business. He had not made any headway, but had endeavoured to make a living by selling jewellery and fancy goods. He also ran a shooting gallery at Marton, but with no better success, and, a 6 several creditors were threatening to sue him, he had no option but to file. He had no offer to make his creditors. Cross-examined, bankrupt stated that he kept a book np till Christmas, 1907, which was destroyed by his child. He sold the shooting gallery for £10 and his stock for £6. The mqeting terminated without any resolution being passed.
