MEETING OF COMMITTEE.
I A meeting of the Committee was afterwards held. There were pren'fu A Me^ srs E - Goodbehere, J, Cobbe, A. R. Mayo, W. F. Bramwell, r £' 9"'^ v '- F - 'Pwani, J. M. R. Loehhead, J. C. Hill, and Rev. G. i xJuaa. Mr E. Goodbehere was appointed temporary Chairmaii for the meet- ' nig. The syllabus for the year was explained by the Director, who said he bad endeavoured to have the courses (correlated. Arrangements were made with regard to the dressmaking classes, and to the painting and circulation of copies, of the- syllabus. Mr <&bb,e suggested the setting np of agricultural classes. Mr 5 Braik said the Board had abandoned the idea of teaching adults agriculture, but were leaving that to the Agricultural Department. However, they hoped to give a thorough knowledge to the pupils in the District High Schools. After other formal business, the msetine closed.
