Hawera, February 10. The Egmont summer race meeting opened to-day in glorious weather. - The track was fast. Results: — Flying Handicap.— Lohgner 1, Waihuku 2, Sir Artegal 3. Also started — Lady Menschikoff , Tiptoe, and Golden Eagle.
