[OUB OWN COBBESPONDENT-l A wedding of considerable local interest took place at the Hanoverstreet Baptist Church, Dunedin, on December 16. The contracting parties were Mr George Hector Hart, of Umutoi, fifth son of Mr Martin Hart, of Ashhurst and Miss Lucy Jane Hislop, only daughter of Mrs Hislop, oi George-streetj Dunedin. The Rev. W. Hay was the officiating minister. The bridesmaids were Miss Rennick, Miss Maggie Breen, and Miss Elsie Kenny, cousins of the bride; and Mr C. F. Hart, brother of the bridegroom acted as best man. After the ceremony, the party adjourned .to the Trades' Hall, where about 100 guests sat down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast, the usual toasts being honoured. The happy couple, whose future home is to be in Umutoi, have the good wishes of a large circle of friends in this district. Splendid showery weather has prevailed hero for the last week, and tlie country is looking bright and green in consequence gladdening the lie-aits of the dairy farmers.
