Return train will leave Taihape 7.0 p.m. for Marton. The usual 2.45 p.m. train will leave Mataroa 3.45 p.m., Taihape 4.45 p.m. for Marton, connecting with evening trains to Wanganui and Palmerston. RACES AT BULLS (GKEATFORD). On Ist January special train will leave Wanganui 8.20 a.m., Marton 10.55 a.m., for Greatford and Palmerston. The 9.37 a.m. goods train with passenger car attached, Wanganui to Palmerston, will NOT run.
