WOMAN BHOOTS HERSELF WITH A PEA RIFLE. A DELIBERATE ACT. [PEB PBBBfi ASSOCIATION.] Hawera, December 22. The wife of Ed/ward Grant, a laborer at Normanby, committed suicide yesterday by shooting herself through the head with a pea rifle. The act was apparently very deliberate as staple being driven into the wall from which string was attached to the trigger. Deceased was about 30 years of age, and had no family.
