»»i WILDING, PARKER, FISHER. [PEB PBEBB ASSOCIATION.] Auckland, December 21. The exhibition matches between Wilding and Parker in the Singles, and Wilding and Grossman v. Parker and Fisher in the Doubles, took place this afternoon on the Eden and Epsom courts. There was a large attendance, including Sir Joseph Ward and party. In the Singles Parker beat Wilding, B—6. 6—4 Wilding appeared to nave an off day, and at various stages slackened off considerably. Parker's was invariably well directed, and with hie Bhots he frequently coaxed Wilding out of position by clever moves. In the Doubles, Parker and Fishe* beat Wilding' and Grossman in the first set, 6—4. The second set went to Wilding and Grossman, B—6:8 — 6: At this stage Wilding retired; Wilding, Parker, and Fisher left by the express this evening for Wellington en route to Nelson.
